Retreat Payment and Cancellation Policy
To reserve your spot, please complete the online application, which will be reviewed within 24 hours of submission. Once approved, further details will be emailed to you along with payment instructions.
When your application is approved, you may either pay in full or pay a $1,000 deposit with the balance due within 30 days. For early bird applicants, I also offer a 3-payment plan option (further details available on application page).
For international retreats, I pay many of our vendors in advance; therefore I must collect full payment no later than 60 days following the approved Application, or 60 days prior to the retreat start date, whichever is sooner.
If you do not pay in full by the due date, I reserve the right to cancel your reservation without refund.
Please note there will be no refunds or discounts for arriving late, leaving early, flight cancellations, family emergencies, travel delays or illness. If you cancel your participation in a retreat for any reason, the cancellation policy below will apply. I wish I could compensate people for unforeseen circumstances (injury, family emergency, etc), but I have costs already incurred, and have designed my cancellation policy to be as compassionate as possible in the event that your plans change. To protect yourself further, I strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance.
If you cancel the retreat...
Before April 4, you receive:
75% refund of total payments paid to date.
Prior to May 20, 2020, you receive:
50% of the total payments paid to date.
After May 20, 2020, you receive:
No refunds or credits will be given.
TO CANCEL you must submit an email stating that you wish to cancel to email@example.com
If Shannon Acton cancels the retreat:
While I hope to never cancel a retreat, if I do have to cancel, I will refund to you all deposits and payments you have made. I cannot compensate you for airfare or travel costs incurred. To cover the risk of cancellation, I highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance to cover your entire retreat costs.
The best way to protect yourself from any unforeseen circumstances is to purchase trip insurance. Travel Insurance can protect you in case:
● you cancel your participation in the retreat
● The retreat is cancelled due to teacher illness or family emergencies, Acts of God, weather, natural disaster, or not enough participants
● lost baggage
● medical expenses and the cost of repatriation should you become ill or injured
